Leisure Leggers keep on going

Leisure Leggers Walking Club President Tom Pontac and wife Jeanne, along with honorary Legger Vince Goins, competed in the Long Beach Aloha 5K race on Sept. 13.

Tom, age 89 and a half, and Jeanne, recently 80 years young, both finished second in their respective age groups. Although Goins is relatively new to competitive walking, he placed fifth.

Join the club on Monday mornings at 8 in front of Clubhouse 6 for a leisurely walk, with coffee and camaraderie afterwords. For more information, call Tom Pontac at 562304-0880, or just show up.
