Assembly of God
When a national hero falls, there is understandably great shared grief. The outpouring of sadness extends to heroes of culture, society, sports, religion and politics alike. When the circumstances of the loss are tragic and unexpected, many can be left hopeless and stunned, wondering how or if the great work or legendary contribution will continue. It is right and justified to feel sadness and loss. Christians can turn to God’s word for solace and comfort. Pastor Chuck Franco will preach a message titled “When Heroes Fall,” from Psalm 146:3-5, and Matthew 7:24-27 this Sunday, Sept. 28. There is no Hymn Sing on Sept. 28.
The Wednesday Bible study is in session two of the “How Are We Changed?” with the lesson “How Do We Become Right with God?” Big concepts require big thoughts and big answers. Eric Mason leads students through these big concepts and brings clarity and understanding to those who seek a right relationship and close fellowship with God.
LW Assembly of God meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study meets at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.
