LW Korean Community Church
LW Korean Community Church’s (LWKCC) eighth annual picnic was a remarkable success at Clubhouse 1. Approximately 200 members and guests gathered for a deep fellowship.
Senior Pastor Yong Jangyoung delivered a sermon based on 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” The sermon emphasized that giving thanks in all circumstances is the goal of the Christian’s faith. He emphasized the importance of practicing and applying God’s grace in their lives when they are touched by it.
The sermon also emphasized the precious and profound blessings of church members getting to know one another, engaging in healthy fellowship, and spending time together as a community. He emphasized that when believers share their hearts with humility and gentleness, God’s work moves their hearts, and their words bear abundant fruit.
Pastor Yong emphasized that the gospel of Jesus Christ must always be at the center of faith. The believer’s mission is to share the good news with everyone and share the joy of salvation.
After the service, there was praise and donations, creating a joyful atmosphere for all. Seeing the congregation get to know each other better and have a wonderful time brought endless joy to those in attendance.
LWKCC holds a Sunday worship in the sanctuary every Sunday at 11:50 a.m. and holds an early morning prayer service led by the senior pastor at 6 a.m. from Tuesday-Saturday. The church is at 14000 Church Place next to St. Andrews Gate. For more information about the church, people can call 714-323-0897 or email yongjang10@ gmail.com.
