Library Card Sign-Up Month
September is Library Card Sign-up Month and the LW Library is inviting all residents to visit the library for the first time or rediscover the incredible resource that is the LW Library and maybe win a great prize at the same time.
Through the month of September, the library will be raffling off a signed copy of New York Times bestselling author Tess Gerritsen’s latest book, “The Summer Guests.” Additional prizes such as library tote bags and mugs will also be available.
To enter the raffle, simply sign up for a library card and mention the contest during the visit. Both existing and new library users can join in on the fun weekly by borrowing any item during the month of September. Each resident is limited to one raffle entry per week, up to a total of five entries. The winners will be contacted in early October to pick up their prizes. Prizes not picked up within one week will be considered forfeit and another winner will be selected.
The LW Library is open weekdays 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. For more information, call 562-598-2431.
