The Seniors For Peace Club will meet on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. The featured speakers at the meeting will be GRF Member Resource Liaison Robann Arshat and Tracey Lancaster, founder of Local Living Solutions. The two will present a program on options for seniors when living in Leisure World no longer meets their needs. Arshat and Lancaster will discuss transitioning to assisted living and board and care living.

Arshat is a familiar face around Leisure World, having built the Member Resource Department from the ground up over the past four years. She has assembled the Collaboration Team: Adult Protective Services, Council on Aging, Alzheimer’s OC and SoMang Society, and The Golden Age Foundation, along with the extended team from Pathways, Lucent Companion Care, Meals on Wheels and more. She has a wealth of resources and network connections that aim to provide services for those who need help. Arshat has over seven years of experience in the eldercare field, and over 20 years of experience in the corporate world.

Lancaster is an Orange County native and an experienced certified senior advisor. She uses her firsthand knowledge to provide hands-on, concierge-level support for seniors and their families throughout the transition to new living circumstances. She is passionate about senior advocacy and finding the best care options and communities to choose from, at no cost to her clients. Lancaster provides continual support after a person has transitioned to their new home.

All are welcome to attend. Call Pat Kruger at 562-357-4040 for more information.
