Resilience: What to do after a disaster

The next class provided by the LW Community Emergency Response Team (LW CERT), will be on Friday, Aug. 22, at 9 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. The presentation, titled “Resilience: What Do I Do After a Disaster” will teach residents ways to ensure immediate needs such as food, water and shelter along with building a strong support system with friends and loved ones before and during a disaster. LW CERT President Catherine O’Brien will define resilience and discuss eight steps to help being able to recover from difficult situations in the aftermath of a disaster. All residents are welcome to join the meeting.
