Learn how to fuse glass today

LAPIDARY & JEWELRY CLUB

The Lapidary Club is offering a new fused glass class taught by Yevette Louie.

This class will emphasize learning the necessary skills to begin to work independently on fused glass pieces. The class will include lessons in cutting, grinding, nipping, cutting circles and drilling.

The class will be held today, Aug. 21, from 12:30-3 p.m., in the Lapidary Room, located in Clubhouse 4.

Materials will be provided, including everything the student will need to work towards a finished fused glass piece that incorporates their newly learned skills.

The cost of the class is $15. The class is open only to Leisure World residents, as well as residents who have previously taken a fused glass class.

Prospective students can sign up in the Lapidary Studio located in Clubhouse 4. The class size is limited to six students.
