Faith Christian Assembly

It has been reported that seniors are leaving churches because their needs are no longer being met. The contemporary church is striving to reach the younger “un-churched” age group, with good intentions, but it can result in seniors feeling unwanted. Many of these same seniors make up a large part of the group that helped establish church organizations and have faithfully supported the church for years.

To hear that some seniors are leaving the church because they no longer feel valued is a concern to those at Faith Christian Assembly. The church values seniors and offer a church culture that reflects that. The church still enjoys singing hymns in addition to contemporary worship songs, and Pastor Sheri Leming’s expository teaching style is beneficial and enjoyable for all ages. Faith Christian Assembly is a church where the Bible is preached, hymns are sung, and friendships are made. Seniors who are looking for a church home, are welcome to try Faith Christian Assembly.

Faith Christian Assembly is located at 13820 Seal Beach Blvd., Seal Beach, just outside the St. Andrews Gate. Sunday service is at 10:30 a.m., and the Wednesday Bible study is at 11 a.m. There is also a men’s and women’s group that meet once a month.
