Cribbage Club

The Cribbage Club meets each Tuesday in Clubhouse 1. A dollar is collected from each member before play begins. Members who arrive by 12:15 p.m. are assured of a place at the table. Announcements are shared at 12:25 with games beginning at 12:30. New players are always welcome. No previous experience or partners are needed. Yearly dues are $5.

Franca Yeske and Terry Thrift each celebrated their Aug. 12 birthday by treating all the members of club to cake and ice cream. Yeske and her daughter Katie—visiting for the celebration— served everyone. Melinda Cowan provided additional snacks.

Ron Jackson earned another star by winning all seven of the games played and posted a score of 847; Devon James, 841, second; Julie Milburn, 832, third; Bea Lissow and Hoppy Hopkins, 826, fourth. The club welcomed Nancy Sheets as a new member.
