A fundamental rule for battle with an expectation to win is “know your enemy.” If one understands the objective of an opponent and the strategy, methods and weapons the opponent will use, one can develop an effective plan, using strategies, methods and weapons of equal or greater capability, to thwart the enemy’s plan. Living a sold-out Christian life means engaging in daily spiritual warfare, described in Ephesians 6:12. Pastor Chuck Franco will bring the message “Fighting the Spiritual Battle” on Sunday, Aug. 24 .
The Hymn Sing will not meet this Sunday night.
The Wednesday Bible study is currently in the book of Acts. Pastor and author Anand Mahadevan, from Mumbai, India, will share about making the workplace a global mission. While many residents are no longer engaged in traditional jobs, the mission is the same: to reach the lost wherever they are, across the street or across the globe. The video lesson is followed by a guided discussion.
