On Aug. 4, many attendees were present at the informative transportation discussion sponsored by the Impaired Vision and Hearing Club. The GRF thanks the Recreation

Department and the custodial staff for accommodating the event with a larger space on a short notice. LWers can request a bus ride to anywhere in Leisure World by calling 562-

472-1367 and providing their location, either by sharing a pickup address or by referencing one of the community's numbered bus shelters. The buses operate Monday-Friday from

8 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
