LW Korean Community Church

On Aug. 10, LW Korean CommunityChurch’s(LWKCC) senior Pastor Yong Jang-Young preachedonRomans1:26, addressing the themes of God’s character, human rebellion, the importance of knowing God, and the concept of sin and its consequences.

Human reluctance to acknowledge God leads to a “depraved mind” and wrong actions. Knowing Jesus and preaching the gospel are presented as essential elements of living according to God’s truth. Those who act contrary to God’s will are portrayed as lacking true knowledge of God. The passage urges believers to turn from actions contrary to God’s will. It calls to action on faith in the gospel, encouraging people to embrace the knowledge of God.

Church member Susan Kim will host a mini health event in the fellowship hall on Aug. 23 from 8 a.m.-noon about carotid artery and thyroid tests. Internists and specialists will provide consultations.

LWKCC meets in the sanctuary every Sunday at 11:50 a.m. and an early morning prayer service at 6 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday. The church is next to St. Andrews Gate. For more information, call 714-323-0897 or email yongjang10@gmail.com.
