One of the greatest treasures is the companionship of someone who is trustworthy, someone whose word is a promise. God, who can be relied upon with perfect certainty, made a promise in Deuteronomy 7:9 that he would keep his covenant for a thousand generations and lavish his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. Pastor Chuck will deliver a sermon titled “Trust in God’s Promises” on Sunday, Aug. 17.
The Wednesday Bible study will hear from pastor and teacher Chad Mohan, from Chennai, India. The series looks at the book of Acts through the eyes of six teachers from around the world. Though the method of how the Gospel is delivered and how the church is activated may look different, the message and the activity of the Holy Spirit is the same. Students will be challenged to be servant leaders, overcome opposition, face persecution and reframe their mission field.
LW Assembly of God meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study meets at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.
