Sunshine Club

Dr. Monica P. Leff will give a presentation to the Sunshine Club about thriving after menopause on Friday, Aug. 8, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m.

This talk will cover what happens in the body after menopause and how to stay healthy and active in the years that follow with a deeper dive on hormones, bone and cardiac health. Leff will address common questions on all and provide practical tips.

Leff is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist and serves as the chair of the women’s division at Memorial Care Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include gynecology and the menopause transition process.

She received her medical degree from UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She is boardcertified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
