Smoke emitted an odor from a bathroom space heater. The fire department arrived on the scene; no fire.

There were 26 coyote sightings reported this month.

An unknown person removed two propane tanks from a resident’s patio area.

An unknown person removed several DMV tags.

An unknown person removed a wallet from a purse.

A resident returned after vacation and saw their safe had been opened and reported money and jewelry missing. The Seal Beach Police were contacted.

A resident reported noise at a neighbor’s unit. No noise detected at the scene.

A resident complained of a loud TV noise coming from neighboring unit. Neighbor turned down the volume.

A resident complained of noise coming from kitchen. No noise detected at the scene.

A resident reported noise from neighbor’s TV. Neighbor complied and turned down the volume.

A resident filed a complaint regarding the neighbor’s loud music. No noise detected at the scene.

Ongoing issue with reporting smells of illegal narcotics entering a resident’s unit. No smells detected at the unit.

A resident was involved in a dispute with maintenance department workers. The inside door would not lock.

A resident was involved in a dispute with another resident. Information was given to the SBPD.

A resident mailed payment that was never received and was advised to contact the SBPD.

Ongoing issue with water heater. Maintenance department employee instructed the resident on the proper use of shower.

A resident stated she observed persons entering the neighbor’s unit. Security spoke to neighbor, but no one was found.

A resident stated trash was left by resident moving out. Security helped dispose the items.
