Smoke emitted an odor from a bathroom space heater. The fire department arrived on the scene; no fire.

COYOTE INCIDENTS: 26

There were 26 coyote sightings reported this month.

MISDEMEANOR THEFT (less than $950 in value):10

•June 3, 5:28 p.m., Mutual 11

An unknown person removed two propane tanks from a resident’s patio area.

•June 4, 4:47 p.m., Mutual 10

An unknown person removed several DMV tags.

•June 5, 5:55 p.m., Mutual 3

An unknown person removed a wallet from a purse.

•June 5, 6:51 p.m., Mutual 10

An unknown person removed a DMV tag.

An unknown person partially removed a DMV tag.

A resident returned after vacation and saw their safe had been opened and reported money and jewelry missing. The Seal Beach Police were contacted.

An unknown person cut down a small tree in the center divider on St. Andrew Drive.

An unknown person broke a flower pot.

An unknown person scratched a bulletin board monitor.

A resident pulled out of a parking space and into the right side of an oncoming car.

A car collided with another car at the Main Gate’s security line arm.

A resident reported noise at a neighbor’s unit. No noise detected at the scene.

•June 9, 12:04 a.m., Mutual 1

A resident complained of a loud TV noise coming from neighboring unit. Neighbor turned down the volume.

•June 11, 2 p.m., Mutual 3

A resident complained of noise coming from kitchen. No noise detected at the scene.

•June 19, 10:38 p.m., Mutual 9

A resident reported noise from neighbor’s TV. Neighbor complied and turned down the volume.

•June 20, 12:50 p.m., Mutual 2

A resident complained of noises outside of Leisure World.

•June 21, 6:45 p.m., Mutual 6

A resident reported noise from a neighbor’s unit. No noise detected at the scene.

•June 24, 8:28 p.m., Mutual 4

A resident filed a complaint regarding the neighbor’s loud music. No noise detected at the scene.

Resident complaint regarding neighbors’ loud construction noise – no noise detected.

A resident reported neighbor’s loud TV. Neighbor complied and turned volume down.

A resident filed a complaint regarding neighbor’s continuing to slam doors during the day and night. The neighbor did not answer the door.

Residents were involved in a heated verbal altercation regarding carport parking.

Security assisted Mutual president with the towing of a vehicle on Mutual property.

A resident was involved in an altercation with a guest. The resident requested the guest be removed from permanent guest list.

•June 7, 11:20 a.m., Mutual 9

Ongoing issue with reporting smells of illegal narcotics entering a resident’s unit. No smells detected at the unit.

•June 8, 10:43 p.m., Mutual 15

A resident was involved in a dispute with maintenance department workers. The inside door would not lock.

• June 10, 9:50 p.m., Clubhouse 6

A resident was involved in a dispute with another resident. Information was given to the SBPD.

•June 10, 5:11 p.m., Mutual 11

A resident mailed payment that was never received and was advised to contact the SBPD.

•June 10, 1:15 p.m., Mutual 3

Ongoing issue with water heater. Maintenance department employee instructed the resident on the proper use of shower.

A resident was smoking on the patio.

•June 12, 9:20 a.m., South of Main Gate

Graffiti was reported on wall south of the Main Gate on Seal Beach Boulevard.

A resident’s caregiver was suspected of calling in visitors.

A neighbor continues to smoke in unit. Officer on the scene did not detect any odor.

A caregiver observed a man

urinating by the Clubhouse 2 parking lot.

Ongoing issue, smells of illegal narcotics entering the unit.

A male bicyclist was riding an e-bike too fast.

A sprinkler was reported broken.

A delivery person swore at a resident.

Unknown persons were soliciting door to door.

Unknown person had a live goose in the vehicle.

A resident had a verbal altercation with Security Officer.

A resident stated she observed persons entering the neighbor’s unit. Security spoke to neighbor, but no one was found.

•June 30, noon, Mutual 9

A resident stated trash was left by resident moving out. Security helped dispose the items.

•June 30, 6:54 a.m., Mutual 9

A neighbor continues to harass resident about smoking illegal narcotics.
