Over 17,000 people can be seated in the Hollywood Bowl, which is the largest naturally-formed amphitheater in the USA.

On July 3, Leisure World resident Debbi Fudge was among the 17,000 people listening to the Earth, Wind & Fire band. This iconic band still has three original members from 1972 playing in the band today.

Original vocalist Philip Bailey belted out song after song along with original bassist Verdine White and original drummer Ralph Johnson. During the entirety of the concert, the crowd roared its appreciation for the great talents of this 12-member band.

Later, 30 minutes of spectacular fireworks awed the audience—burst after burst of spectacular colors accompanied by the rat-a-tat-tat noise explosions.

And then, a surprise ending to the concert and fireworks. Earth, Wind & Fire came back on stage and performed five more songs. Again, the crowd roared its appreciation for the great talents in this band.
