LW unites for July 4 festivities
FROM THE GRF PRESIDENT
by Linda Herman
GRF president
The July 4 community celebration was a rousing success—so many smiling faces and compliments throughout the day. This truly felt like a united community event.
Festivities kicked off with the Rolling Thunder golf cart parade. It’s always fun to see a parade.
Over 160 vehicles participated in the car show—how they managed to park them all is a miracle of logistics!
Clubhouse 4 was filled with talented artists showcasing and selling their work. Veterans Plaza came alive with live music, and the food trucks kept everyone well fed. GRF provided water to help beat the heat.
I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who made this celebration possible: the Recreation Department, Security staff, bus drivers, janitorial staff, the Silver Fox Car Club, our vendors and sponsors—and most of all, the residents. You are what makes this community so special, and I believe everyone had a truly great time.
