LW Democrats and friends are welcome to visit the Democratic Club’s Hospitality Booth outside Clubhouse 6 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. every first Tuesday and third Thursday of the month. People can chat with like-minded individuals, register to vote, change voter registration, sign up for club membership and receive the semi-monthly newsletter. The Voter Education series is held on the second Wednesday of the month from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., in Clubhouse 3, Room 3. For more information, email Beverleybender@gmail.com.
The “Lunch Bunch,” an informal club gathering to enjoy a meal together at Hof’s Hut on the first Wednesdays of the month at 11:30 a.m. For more information, email Debbie Wrathall at Debbiewrathall@mac.com.
The Democratic Club will meet on Wednesday, July 23, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 1:30 p.m. All current and potential members can arrive as early as 12:30 to socialize with other club members. People who are unable to attend in person can join the meeting by Zoom. In June the club hosted Matt Bragman from the Los Alamitos School Board. Bragman was a candidate the club supported when he ran for election.
The “Good Trouble” Freedom Rally, will be on Saturday, July 19, from noon-2 p.m. off Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street and in front of the LW Globe. People are encouraged to join.
