Community Karaoke Community Karaoke

Karaoke fans filled the room for another songfest on Wednesday, July 2. The opening song was “God Bless America” celebrating the Fourth of July holiday. Many performers sang other familiar patriotic tunes and kept the audience engaged.

Some folks surprise themselves how much fun they have singing on stage and being applauded by their friends. Some show some flair and style while others just have a good time singing a favorite tune.

The song books have been reprinted. Through the years, many folks have requested different tunes be added to the club’s collection. In the “Artist” song book, singers will find specific songs categorized by Christmas, gospel, Italian, patriotic, Spanish, showtunes and more.

Karaoke practice sessions are held in Clubhouse 6 on Mondays from 1-3 p.m. These sessions allow singers to rehearse a new song. All are welcome to join the club’s weekly karaoke parties on Wednesdays from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 1.
