Assembly of God

Pastor Chuck Franco will continue his series “Living a Real Christian Life” with a message titled “The Authentic Walk,” taken from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28. One who is deeply committed to Christ exhibits behaviors and traits that set them apart. A person’s Christian testimony is first understood by others in the way they conduct their day-to-day affairs, business, relationships, and every aspect of their life.

Integrity is the blending of ideals and actions, and it is a Christian’s responsibility to pursue authentic holiness. Pastor Franco will share what Paul wrote to encourage believers to live lives that demonstrate their commitment to God.

The Wednesday Bible study will continue its study in Psalms, “Lyrics for Life,” by Lisa Harper. The lesson for July 16 is titled “Absolutely Seen and Always Secure.”

One of a person’s basic needs is to know they matter. God created people for relationship with each other and with him. Another basic need is security, and the confidence that even in precarious circumstances, there is assurance of help and deliverance. This session offers biblical evidence and spiritual insight into the truth that every person matters to God, and he provides protection and assistance to those who trust him.
