Leisure World Korean Community Church’s (LWKCC) Senior Pastor Yong Jang-Young preached with Jesus’ words from John 16:33, “I have overcome the world.”

Recalling the Korean War 75 years ago, Jang-Young introduced three church members who participated in the war and conveyed the pain of war. The historic moment when 16 countries including United States participated in the war to protect peace reminded of God’s will.

Greed and hatred caused by sin cause war and promote disconnection and destruction between individuals. Believers must seek God’s justice and righteousness, and seek his mercy.

LWKCC holds a Sunday worship at 14000 Church Place, next to St. Andrews Gate, every Sunday at 11:50 a.m. to “plant God’s will in the ground.” The early morning prayer service, led by the senior pastor, is held at 6 a.m. from Tuesday-Saturday.
