Scrabble Club

The Leisure World Scrabble Club met on May 28 and on the first three Wednesdays in June. The club meets each Wednesday in Clubhouse 3, Room 5, from 1-4 p.m. New members are welcome.

The members combined for 33 scores above 300. There were 19 bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move).

Jim Schneiderman led with eight scores higher than 300 and eight bingos. His best total was a 392. Larry Edgar bettered 300 five times and had two bingos. His high total was a 416.

Suthy Edgar topped 300 six times and posted six bingos. Her best game was a 387.

Sue Ann Gass, Sylvis Makus and Marilyn Moody each bested 300 twice. Their respective best scores were 341, 325, and 304. Donna Perkins posted a 332. Myrna Loscuadro registered a 316.
