LW Baptist Church

About half of the New Testament writings are letters from the Apostle Paul. Some are personal letters to an individual, others are instructional such as his first letter to the church at Corinth, now Southern Greece. But the warmest and most personal and revealing document from Paul is his second letter to the Corinthians. It opens up the affectionate warmth of his heart showing his burden for the spiritual well-being of God's people and his willingness to sacrifice for them.

LW Baptist Church will meet Sunday, June 15, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4 to focus on what Paul had learned about God the Father. Paul calls him by a new name, the “Father of Mercies.”

Leisure World Baptist Church also meets at the midweek to pray for local needs and those of the missionaries and to study the Bible book of Psalms.

Call the church at 562-430-8598 for more information.
