League’s ‘Art in Bloom’ exhibition receives over 120 submissions

Over 120 artwork submissions from 36 artists have been accepted for the club’s “Art in Bloom” exhibition. The fine art show, will be June 21 from 4-7 p.m. in the lobby of Clubhouse 3. It will be the largest juried art show in the community’s 62-year history.

Sponsored by Gasper-Monteer Realty Group, the exhibition will feature a diverse selection of 2D and 3D art pieces, live music and dining options from Koffel’s Food Truck. Proceeds from the exhibition will benefit Los Alamitos Unified School District art students in compliance with the Art League’s mission to “support and promote the arts and artists…and to foster an appreciation of the arts in the community.”

Leisure World residents and their guests are invited to attend the event, which will feature entertainment provided by local musicians.
