Assembly of God
“My father didn’t tell me how to live; He lived and let me watch him do it,” says Clarence Budington Kelland. For better or worse, a father’s example often speaks louder than his words. This Sunday, June 15, LW Assembly of God will celebrate fathers on Father’s Day, but also give honor to the men who are role models, advisors, supporters, best friends and spiritual leaders to younger men and women. One of the most effective ways a man can interact with those he cares about is in prayer. Pastor Chuck Franco will bring a sermon titled “How Men Should Pray,” from 1 Timothy 2:8. Paul considered Timothy his spiritual son and instructs him in this passage how a man should pray.
The Wednesday Bible study will not meet on June 18 or June 25. It will resume on July 2.
LW Assembly of God meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study meets at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.
