LW Korean Community Church

LW Korean Community Church traces its beginnings back to the gathering in the upper room in the Gospel of Mark. The first gathering was a family-centered gathering, and the early church was established by the grace of God in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus’ words, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for what the Father has promised,” are deeply rooted in the identity and mission of the church today. These words clearly reveal the nature of the church, which is to testify about the resurrected Jesus and follow God’s commands under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The church is a place to learn about holiness. Holiness is necessary for believers to live as witnesses of God and expand the kingdom of God. Therefore, believers must live a life of prayer, discerning and focusing on what is important in their lives. Concentration does not mean mere immersion, but rather an attitude of knowing the priorities of life and being devoted to it.

Believers must also serve with the “ability to digest.” The expression “digestive power” refers to the ability to know what joy is and to live by keeping it deep in believers’ hearts. This is the ability to accept and enjoy the grace they have received from God.

LWKCC will meet on Sunday, June 8, with a sermon that begins with an acknowledgement that God has protected the church for the past 15 years and is still working to fulfill his will. Believers must continue to worship and move forward so that God’s will can be planted on this earth and bear fruit.

LWKCC holds a worship service in the sanctuary at 14000 Church Place every Sunday at 11:50 a.m. It also holds an early morning prayer service at the sanctuary led by the senior pastor at 6 a.m. from Tuesday to Saturday. For more information, call 714-323-0897 or email yongjang10@gmail.com.
