LW Assembly of God will welcome back former pastor Sam Pawlak to speak at the Sunday, June 8, service. Many members were blessed by his ministry and friendship during the years he pastored in the community. Pastor Pawlak will bring updates on his ministry and books along with a message of encouragement. His wife, Michelle, will join him.
The Wednesday Bible study is in the book of Psalms, written by Lisa Harper, “The Lyrics of Life.” This week’s session is titled “Frantic Isn’t a Spiritual Fruit.” As Harper points out, there is a Psalm for every situation. The lesson focuses on the peace and comfort Psalms can offer. This study expands the student’s understanding of the purpose of each psalm included in the book, reveals authorship and gives context for appreciating the personal relevance of these scriptures.
LW Assembly of God meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study meets at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.
