Sunshine Club

UCI Health Los Alamitos Neurologist Dr. Nirav Patel will cover causes, symptoms and treatments for stroke at the Sunshine Club’s next meeting on Friday, May 16, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.

Patel is the medical director of the stroke program at UCI Health Los Alamitos, and is an assistant clinical professor of neurology at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Patel has a special interest in stroke, migraine headache, Alzheimer’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. He is also a member of the clinical faculty in the Department of Medicine at University of California, Irvine. UCI Health Los Alamitos is a comprehensive stroke center.

People are asked to arrive to the meeting promptly, those who are late are asked to quietly use the back door so as not to disturb the presentation.

All residents are welcome to join this meeting. The Sunshine Club requires no membership fees, but donations are welcome. Refreshments will be served at the meeting.
