Scrabble Club plays Wednesdays in Clubhouse 3

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets each Wednesday in Clubhouse 3, Room 5, from 1-4 p.m. New members are welcome.

The club met on the last two Wednesdays of April and on May 7. The members combined for 11 scores above 300, of which four were higher than 400. There were 12 bingos—i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move.

Jim Schneiderman led with three totals higher than 300 and three bingos. His best scores were 415 and 408. Marilyn Moody topped 300 three times, with a high score of 345.

Suthy Edgar had high games of 469 and 414 and seven bingos. Larry Edgar bettered 300 twice, with a top score of 349.

Diane Seeger had a high score of 318 and one bingo. Myrna Loscuadro posted one bingo.
