Learn how to identify coin errors

COIN CLUB

The Coin Club will meet Wednesday, May 14, at 1 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The club meets on the second Wednesday of every month.

The Coin Club is an educational event as well as a social club where members can connect with each other and make new friends. Everyone is welcome.

Each meeting begins with a group discussion or an educational presentation. On May 14, the American Numismatic Association (ANA) video by speaker Dennis Tucker will provide more information about how to recognize error coins, also known as cherrypicking. Light refreshments are provided and several opportunities are available for member participation, including a raffle, a 50/50 drawing, a coin auction and door prizes.

Ron Guth, Rocky Herrera and/or Andy Kmita will be in attendance to view coins and answer questions. The club’s annual membership fee is $10.
