Lapidary & Jewelry Classes in May

The Lapidary & Jewelry Club will offer another glass jewelry class on Thursday, May15, from 12:30-3 p.m., at Clubhouse 4, in the Lapidary Room. The cost for the class is $15, and the class is limited to six students, Leisure World residents only. Sign-up sheets are available in the Lapidary Room.

Learn how to make a glass tea light holder

The club will hold a class on how to create a fused glass tealight holder on Tuesday, May 13, from 9:30 a.m.-noon in the Lapidary Room in Clubhouse 4, New students will learn the basics of fused glass and experienced students will have the opportunity to expand their skills in cutting and shaping glass. Materials will be provided, including everything needed to make one fused glass tealight holder. The fused pieces can be picked up in the following days.

The class is only open to Leisure World residents. The cost of the class is $15. Sign-up sheets are available in the Lapidary Room. The class size is limited to six students.
