Cribbage Club plays Tuesdays
The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served each week from noon-12:15, and anyone who arrives by 12:15 is assured a place to play. Yearly dues are $5, and $1 is collected from each player weekly. Those finishing with the top four scores are awarded prize money the following week. A total of seven games are played and anyone who enjoys playing cribbage is welcome to come join in. Instruction is available to those who want to learn. People interested in learning should contact Marilyn Chelsvig at 562-279-5665 so lessons can be arranged ahead of time.
Sandra DeDubovay provided cake and ice cream in celebration of her 86th birthday. She and Potsy Frank served the refreshments, and Melinda Cowan provided nuts and candies for everyone.
The winners for the week include: Myrna Baker and Minda Burkschab 833, first place; Potsy Frank, 830, second; Grace Holdaway, 827, third; Micki Whitaker, 825, fourth.
