LW Baptist Church

Christians believe God’s promise that their bodies are a permanent part of who they are and will be raised from the dead in a glorious condition, suitable for life on earth and in heaven. LW Baptist Church will celebrate that future reality on Sunday, May 4, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4.

This future is a wonder all believers look forward to. Every weakness, pain or sorrow now only serves to make the more precious God’s promise to “wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away,” says Revelation 21:4. The Apostle Paul talks about the mystery of each believers’ resurrection body, when the mortal becomes immortal and death is swallowed up in victory.
