The Karaoke Club celebrated 20 years of singing in Leisure World on April 30 with a country-western theme. People heard talented neighbors and friends sing popular cowboy songs mixed with lots of other musical varieties. Everyone is welcome to join the club’s karaoke nights, which are held in Clubhouse 1 every Wednesday from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

On April 23, karaoke lovers packed Clubhouse 1 for a fun night of music. Newcomers Ramon and Patricia Alvarez sang beautiful Spanish melodies. Ren Villaneauva and Pete Tupas also selected popular Spanish hits. Ellen Brannigan sang a buoyant “I’ll Fly Away.” Tom Kiler entertained the audience with “It’s Not Unusual.” Nina Todorov sang a peppy “Personality.” The audience appreciated every one of the 41 performers during this songfest.
