Abilene veteran Tina Shaffer will join band’s May 24 dance in CH 2

WEEKEND DANCES

Abilene will perform Saturday, May 24, in Clubhouse 2 from 7-9 p.m. Free dance lessons start at 6:30 p.m.

Abilene is Leisure World’s No. 1 country rock band going strong for 22 years. The band features Andre DuSomme on guitar and vocals, Jim Greer on drums, Vickie Van Ert doing vocals, Greg Johnson on keyboards and vocals, and Bob McAlister on bass and vocals.

This month only, veteran member Tina Shaffer will be back for a guest appearance. The band has incorporated some new sounds and new artists to add to the excitement.
