Stamp prices are going up
Postal prices are expected to go up on July 13. On April 9, the U.S. Postal Service announced that new rates will include a 5-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp from, 73 cents to 78 cents.
The proposed adjustments, approved by the governors of the Postal Service, would raise mailing services product prices approximately 7.4%. The price changes must be favorably reviewed by the Postal Regulatory Commission to go into effect. If approved, the price changes would include:
