This class will involve soldering 40-42 sterling wire rings, forming them into various shapes and constucting a necklace. In the second portion of the class, students will learn to fabricate a simple pendant by enclosing a finished stone into a sterling silver pendant. The cost of sterling silver to make this pendant is somewhere between $15-$30 depending upon material used.

The class will be four weeks long and held on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30-3 p.m. The cost of the class is $25, which covers materials used during the course. The cost of sterling silver ranges from $10-$20 depending on complexity. The classes will be conducted in the Lapidary Room in Clubhouse 4.

Some students will complete the necklace and pendant within the four-week time period. If needed, two more classes will be involved—six weeks total—to complete the necklace and pendant. It is preferred that students commit to four to six classes in the four- to six-week time period.

Sign-ups are open and the size is limited to four students per class.
