LW Men’s Golf Club

On April 9, 58 men of the LW Men’s Golf Club met at the par 54 Turtle Lake Golf Course.

Only 21 of the players came in at a net score at or under par. There were 12 circle hole winners, and 65 birdies recorded.

Low net score for the round was shot by Bob Johnston at 6 under 48, followed by Bob Turner, Ryan Hong and Scott Tuchfarber at 4 under 50. Closest to the pin on both the front and back nine was Seon Kim. Low gross for the tournament was Bob Barnum at 1 under 53, followed by Johnston and Turner at even par.

A flight winners (handicaps of 0-6): Johnston, first place; Turner, second; Pat Paternoster, 3 under 51, third; Alan Sewell, A shotgun scramble is planned at the LW Turtle Lake Golf Course for April 30. Sign-ups are un- derway at the clubhouse. The last day to sign up is April 29. Cost to play is $15 per player.

Seon Kim and Barnum, 2 under 52, fourth; Ralph Koizumi and Jae Choi, 1 under 53, fifth: Tom Owen, even par 54, sixth.

B flight winners (handicaps of 7-12): Ryan Hong, 4 under 50, first place; Terry Thrift and Jack Haskins, 3 under 51, second; Jae H. Lee, Steve Kang and Wong Song, 2 under 52, third; Rod Osgood, 1 under 53, fourth; Young J. Kim, even par 54, fifth; Richard Yokomi, Joon Sup Yoon, Dale Williamson, Steve Walker, Kevin Lindstedt and Andrew Kim, 1 over 55, sixth.

C flight winners (handicaps of 13-18): Tuchfarber, 4 under 50, first place; James Choi, 3 under 51, second; James Farr and Dennis Jensen, 1 under 53, third; Ben Benjamins, 1 over 55, fourth; John Sorenson, Darry Holten and Jon Russell, 2 over 56, fifth.
