LW Assembly of God will hold a Good Friday service in Clubhouse 4 at noon on Friday, April 18. Johnny and Ruth Larring will return as special musical guests and worship leaders.
On Sunday, April 20, Pastor Chuck Franco will bring the message titled “He Has Risen!” from John 15:13. The Christian faith relies on the fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Because of his death and resurrection, humankind can be reconciled to God. There is hope for today and the future because of the empty tomb. All residents of LW, and amily and friends are welcome to worship in this joy-filled service this Easter Sunday.
The Bible study will look at session 4 of the “Why Do We Need the Bible?” series by Lisa Harper, titled “Why Do We Read the Bible?”
Leisure World Assembly of God meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study meets at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday evening of the month, at 6 p.m., in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.
