On Sunday, April 27, at 3:30 p.m., LW Community Church invites residents to the free Peace, Love and Music Festival. Join church members for a groovy afternoon of ‘60s music featuring Legends of Rock and Songbirdz. Free flower power stickers will be given to the first 100 guests. Sunday, April 20, is the first of seven Sundays of Easter. Easter isn’t a day so much as it is a season. On the first Sunday of Easter the church will celebrate with bulb flowers. Bulb flowers tell the story of the resurrection as the flowers die, the bulb stays underground and produces new flowers in the next season. The church will also look at the story of Easter in John’s Gospel. Residents are invited to come to “Coffee with the Pastor” on Thursdays at 10 a.m. This is an informal opportunity for those who want to meet Pastor Johan Dodge.
Community Church holds worship services on Sunday mornings at 9:50 at 14000 Church Place near St. Andrews Gate. All are welcome.
