Bob Munn shoots his age at 91

Six golfers from the Leisure World Men’s Golf League visited the par 71 Meadowlark Golf Course in Huntington Beach on April 4. Scores were fair, and Bob Munn shot a gross 90, which is one under his age of 91.
Jim Goltra had fewest putts for the round and was also closest to the pin on the 140-yard—all over water—par 3 seventh hole. Clay Fischer was closest on the 150-yard—into the wind—par 3 16th hole. Fischer had the only birdie of the day.
Winners: (net score = gross-handicap): Munn, 8 under par 63, first place; Sam Choi, 4 under, second; Gary Stivers, 2 under, third; Goltra, Fujio Norihiro and Clay Fischer, even par, fourth.
On April 7, 11 golfers played the par 62 David L. Baker Executive Golf Course in Fountain Valley.
All of the golfers were net at or under par. There were eight birdies: Jim Goltra had two, and Sam Choi, Clay Fischer, Bob Munn, Henry Meza, Larry Hillhouse and Jae Choi had one each.
Gary Stivers had fewest putts in the A flight, and Munn had fewest in the B. Goltra was closest to the pin on the 100-yard par 3 third hole, and Hillhouse was closest on the 110-yard par 3 15th.
A flight winners: Jae Choi, 9 under 53, first place; Hillhouse, 5 under 57, second; Stivers, 3 under 59, third; Goltra, 2 under 60, fourth; Sam Choi, Chris Lankford and Fischer, fifth.
B flight winners: Munn, 4 under 58, first place; Ron Jackson, Bill McKusky and Henry Meza, 1 under 61, second.
