Karaoke parties held Wednesdays
COMMUNITY KARAOKE
The Community Karaoke Club had a lively crowd at its March 19 karaoke party. The decorations were green shamrocks to put folks in the mood for a happy St. Paddy’s Day.
The audience was captivated by Ren Villaneauva’s “Danny Boy,” as well as Bob Barnum’s a capella version. Ellen Brannigan invited folks to sing along with “Irish Eyes.” Judi Ornoff gave an energetic “Leaving on a Jet Plane.” Other pleasing numbers were from Richard Yokomi, Erika Greenwood and 35 other enthusiastic singers.
Karaoke is a happy time to meet new friends and be entertained by neighbors. Join the fun on Wednesday nights from 5:30-9:30 in Clubhouse 1. Practice a tune or two with a smaller group in Clubhouse 6 on Mondays from 1-3 p.m.
