The Sunshine Club originally began the distribution to help lessen the dangers from walking outside at night in dark clothes.

The safety vests make it easier for drivers to see walkers at night. The club hopes that the distribution of the 100 reflective vests that have been picked up by residents will help to prevent dangerous accidents in the future.

Anyone can purchase a safety reflective vest from Amazon or go to the GRF Purchasing Department to get one. The Purchasing Department is located at the end of the Golden Rain Road and Canoe Brook.
