Assembly of God
Pastor Chuck Franco will continue his current series on Sunday, March 2, with a message titled “It’s All About Love”, from 1 John 4:7-12. A true relationship with Jesus is marked by authentic love for others, demonstrated in word and deed. God showed his love by sending Jesus so that all may be redeemed. As Christians strive to follow the example of true love, they must also love, even those who are hard to love or reject their love. The Scripture puts it very plainly that anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God’s entire character is encompassed in this one word, for it takes in righteousness, justice, mercy and forgiveness. This series on love can become the basis for one’s actions and attitudes the rest of the year as one learns how to love as God loves.
Wednesday Bible study will study session three in the “Why Does Jesus Matter?” series, titled “What Did Jesus Say and Do?” Much can be discovered about someone by listening to how and what they talk about, and watching what they do with their time and energy. This session takes an overview of Jesus’s actions and words and how that affects Christians’ lives today.
