LW Gong Club show is Feb. 28 in CH 2

All are welcome to enjoy live duets at the LW Gong Club’s show on Feb. 28 in Clubhouse 2 starting at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. The first performance will feature LW residents Yuri Lotakov on piano and Richard Freedman on trumpet performing a tribute to Rafael Mendez. Next, residents Sandy and Eric Nelson will perform familiar, upbeat songs on piano and drums. “You don’t have to look very far to find great talent within this community,” said President Lu DeSantis.

Coffee and snacks will be provided. People can bring their own beverages.

The Gong Club is seeking performers for its upcoming shows. Those who know of talented musicians who are interested in performing on stage are encouraged to contact DeSantis at 310686-4763 for an audition. The club is looking for small duets and soloists. The club is also seeking three-minute, humorous skits and comedians to perform at its March 28 show.
