LW Pool League
In the third week of the Monday (American) Pool League, The Snipers beat I Don’t Care 10-3. This match gave The Snipers a league leading record of 28 wins and only 11 losses. I Don’t Care is still in second place, seven games behind The Snipers. Gary Snow and Steve Mitchell of The Snipers won six games, including both of their singles matches.
The Cue Crew beat Dead Eye 8-5. Bruce Pettys of The Cue Crew had a big night winning six games and only losing one doubles match.
Anywhere But There beat The Renegades 8-5. Anywhere But There’s “A” player, Eric Ward, won five games.
At the Wednesday (National) League, The Sharks edged RMD Trio 7-6 to maintain a one game lead over The Favorites. Brian Burke and Patrick Conlon each won four games for The Sharks.
The Favorites beat The Burners 8-5. Dave Silva of The Favorites won five games and has yet to lose a singles match. In the final eight ball game of the night, The Favorites became confused and shot out of turn. This is the first time that has happened in this season.
Teams are careful to keep in their shooting order, because it gives their opponents a ball-in-hand foul.
Light it Up edged 3 Layers Deep 7-6. Paul Shellenberger had a big night for Light it Up, winning five games.
