Japanese American Club

The Japanese American Club of Leisure World will meet on Feb. 15 at 11:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. It will be a potluck. Attendees should bring a Asian dish for six. Persons not bringing a dish will pay $10 per person, $15 for nonmembers.

To help keep up with the everchanging real estate landscape in Leisure World, the club is hosting Carl Kennedy, a 10-year Leisure World resident and Gasper-Monteer Realty Group agent, to discuss the changes. Kennedy will share the recent nationwide changes to the agent commission structure when buying and selling; the Leisure World fee changes; changing units within Leisure World; the qualification requirements when purchasing; the need for a living trust to protect heirs; as well as a snapshot of the Leisure World market.
