Faith Christian Assembly

The month of February is filled with red hearts, chocolates and all things to celebrate love. This world is clearly in desperate need of more love, especially to our fellow man.

Any time is a good time to be reminded of how many people are loved by almighty god. The Word of God tells the wonderful story of god’s redeeming love from cover to cover. In fact, the most well-known scripture, John 3:16, beautifully reveals the lengths that god has gone through to show the entire world the full extent of His love by giving His Son Jesus to die on the cross for everyone’s sins.

Loving God and loving one another is frequently tied together in god’s word. “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of god; and everyone who loves is born of god and knows god. He who does not love, does not know god, for god is love,” 1 John 4:7-8, NKJV.

Joni Eareckson Tada said: “Always, love is a choice. You come up against scores of opportunities every day to love or not to love. You encounter hundreds of small chances to please your friends, delight the lord and encourage your family. That’s why love and obedience are intimately linked—you can’t have one without the other.”

“Let all that you do be done with love,” 1 Corinthians 16:14, NKJV.

Everyone is welcome to join Faith Christian Assembly on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 11 a.m. for a bible study service. Come hear a great biblical message that can help in a daily life.
