American Latino Club

The American Latino Club will meet on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. There will be a Valentine’s Day theme and lunch from California Pizza Kitchen. The country of the month will continue in March. The two lunch menu choices are: chicken tequila fettuccine: creamy jalapeño lime sauce with spinach fettuccine, red onions, bell peppers, and fresh cilantro—not spicy, or bolognese fusilli: slowly simmered rustic meat sauce with cremini mushrooms, sprinkled with scallions. Both dishes come with a side classic caesar salad. There will be dessert, coffee, tea, water and other beverages. Cost for members is $17 and $19 for guests.

Payment needs to reach treasurer Myriam Klotz by Monday, Feb. 10, by 3 p.m. either by U.S. mail or by dropping the payment off in her mailbox at: 13940 Thunderbird Dr, Unit 6G, phone 714-746-9626. Checks should be made payable to the American Latino Club. Members will be contacted by email, phone or text. Members and guests may bring their own lunch and pay $5, which includes beverages. Notify Klotz accordingly. Bring a Valentine’s Day poem to share. Loteria—Mexican bingo—will be played.
