The cumbersome Thomas Bros. Guide, with its many volumes and complicated page system, has effectively become extinct with the advent of GPS. The necessity for directions to a certain destination, however, will never become extinct. The same principle holds true as a new year begins. Unless one has a certain goal or destination in mind, the end of the journey of 2025 is uncertain. 1 Peter 3:10-12 gives specific directions to those who desire success and happiness in the new year. Pastor Chuck Franco’s sermon is titled, “A Map for the New Year.”
The third session of the Wednesday Bible study is titled “What Went Wrong. “God created the world and everything in it with perfection. So how have things gone so off course? Francis Chan’s video teaching is followed by student interaction and a closer look at the scripture. Big theological ideas are presented in an understandable way. Begin 2025 by committing to study the Bible with renewed fervor.
